Amazon S3 Tutorial
How to use Amazon S3 with the S3Fox Organizer Addon
Affordable online storage is the way to go. You take the pressure off your hosting and your site loads faster. Using Amazon S3 and the S3Fox Organizer makes it easy to share your files with friends and customers. Today, I created a Camtasia tutorial for a friend and sent them a link, all within 15 minutes. There are numerous reasons to use S3 and at a penny a gigabyte, you cannot go wrong!
This video got me up and running with S3 and it is much easier than I thought. I hope this tutorial will change the way you store and deliver your files and open new doors for you. This is one internet tool every serious marketer will eventually add to their arsenal.
If you have yet to try Camtasia, you could get a 30 day free trial of Camtasia 7. It is rather expensive ($300) but it is one useful and efficient software program. Not only can you record beautiful screen-casts, but you may also use it as a video editor, video converter, and it integrates with Powerpoint with ease. When you combine Amazon S3 with Camtasia, there is no limit to the amount of screen-cast videos you can produce.

Every Amazon S3 related blog gives you an impression that there is only one Amazon S3 client available – S3 fox. However there are many more freeware clients which are much superior. For instance, S3HUB for Mac (http://s3hub.com) and CloudBerry Explorer for Windows (http://s3.cloudberrylab.com/) .
@Andy, CloudBerry Lab,
Right on. This is a “primer”. My intention is to show the ease of use and the importance of learning how to serve various files on a dependable and inexpensive service.
I’m looking into a cloud solution. This is cool.
Thanks,
Brett
Thanks a lot for sharing!
I was planning on starting the guide with wordpress..
I for one value the time you put into your conclusions and wish to check out much more of your opinions once more soon.
Hey Brettjarvi,
Interesting Post, So I’ve been browsing for some by using Google, Amazon, Youtube and these types of, but I can not look for any in depth video tutorials for Do. I am struggling with linked lists properly now and I would even settle for easily a first rate video clip on them.. not just some guy vaguely narrating himself coding a connected record. Thanks!
All the Best
@Max Bernard I don’t know much about linked lists. Maybe this will help http://www.youtube.com/user/runchman
Thanks for stopping.
